In the following video, (from the Sunday morning worship service at Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee from back on July 28th, 2019), Pastor Charles Lawson preached a message from the Word of God, (the Bible), in which he talked about how that in the founding of the United States of America and in our early history; (the Great Awakening and the Second Great Awakening), the basic principles of Biblical Christianity are the obvious cause of the rich blessings that we have enjoyed in this nation. However, overall, as a people, we are moving away from God; and, we already see some of the consequences of our moving away from God as a nation.
