"What Are You Expecting?"

Here, in the Sunday morning worship service at the Central Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina from back on February 3rd, 2013, Pastor Loran Livingston preached a powerful and encouraging message from the Word of God, (the Bible.)

In this message, Pastor Livingston talked about how that we who are born-again, saved believers in the Lord Jesus Christ should NOT get our so-called, "hopes and expectations" from this fallen, sinful, mortal world in which we currently live.

No, we who ARE born-again, saved believers in the Lord Jesus Christ NEED TO read the Word of God, (the Bible), and agree with AND believe it!

We as believers need to read the Bible as "a contract that God made with you and He signed it in blood", (that is in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!)

As we who are believers read the Bible and believe that God wrote it **for us**, and, that God IS talking to us THROUGH our reading of the Bible, then, because of this, we as believers start to replace weak, human , natural thoughts with powerful spiritual TRUTH, and, if we do this long enough, THEN the powerful spiritual truth that is in the Bible becomes our reality, and, we can then have our hopes and expectations IN what Almighty God Himself can and will do in our lives as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Indeed, when I as a believer read from the Bible just WHO that I really AM in Jesus Christ, and, I believe it from my heart, THEN, my REAL world BECOMES the Kingdom of the living God!

THEN, my reality becomes the miraculous, and, I can expect Almighty God to DO what He said that He will do in my life as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ!

AS born-again, saved believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we DO need to "change realities" in our lives FROM the so-called "reality" of this fallen, sinful, passing away mortal world in which we currnetly live TO the Biblical FACT that our **TRUE REALITY** is that **the Kingdom of God** is where our citizenship and our TRUE REALITY actually and truly is!!

The main Bible passages that Pastor Livingston preached from for this message are from Hebrews 10:12-13; Matthew 8:13; Ephesians 5:8-11, 27; Revelation 12:7-8; Psalm 105: 1-2, and Psalm 62:5.
