We are told in the Bible Book of Romans, Chapter 8 that we who are saved believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are joint-heirs with Christ. We have an unimaginably incredible inheritance in Heaven just waiting for us to receive it; but, we will not receive this inheritance until the day that we meet our Savior in Glory. No one knows when and how that will come, but we do know that until that day, we must live on this present mortal Earth alongside all of the curses and blessings which come with it.
Some people believe that once someone gets saved, that person will have a beautiful, peaceful, financially stable life. However, that is not taught in Scripture… anywhere. We are never promised an easy life on Earth. In fact, active, obedient children of God are promised something quite the opposite—suffering. Christ suffered, and we are promised to suffer with Him. It is the cost of discipleship. What kinds of sufferings might we face, and why would we voluntarily face these trials? Why do the great heroes of the Church even count these hardships as joy and honor? in the following video, Pastor James Knox takes a look into the Word of God, (the Bible), to help us find out about these things concerning Biblical, Christian suffering. So, without any further explanation, directly below is the link to this video, which is titled: --- "Suffering and Glory | Romans 8 --- Lesson 13" :
