What was so dark when the Lord Jesus Christ hung on the cross, even before the sun got darkened? Answer: our SINS. --- Luke 23:44-46. Isaiah 53:4-6 --- All of the sins and iniquities of the entire world were laid on Jesus Christ. That's why the Heavenly Father turned His face away from His own Son. But what a joy we now have in Jesus Christ knowing that there is nothing in our life that He cannot fix. We haven't faced anything that Jesus hasn't faced. Even John the Baptist testified about Jesus saying, "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world" John 1:29. *****People will be condemned to Hell not for their sins but for not believing in Jesus Christ and denying the gift of eternal life paid for by the Blood of God's own Son on the Cross.***** As it is written in John 3:18: -- "Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." So today our Heavenly Father calls us to be reconciled to Him. 1st Corinthians 5:18-21: -- Jesus is the ONE and ONLY "ticket" to Heaven. God the Father made Jesus Christ something that He wasn't so that He, (Jesus Christ), could make us something that we were not and never could be without Him.
